One might be hard pressed to define the music of Gibson Cage - a fusion of southern rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, grunge, gospel, and country. The range of his vocals can go from as smooth as butterscotch to as raw as Janis Joplin’s heart and soulful-to-many-cigarettes-followed-by-a-whiskey-chaser sound - all culminating in a voice as earthy and lusty as it is rich and pure. It is Cage being so indefinable that defines him and his music - a new hard and edgy genre of country rock. Now Cage brings his powerhouse music and unique voice to the world.
Gibson Cage recorded with some of the biggest names in rock ‘n’ roll on his debut CD, Diamond Company. With names like Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, Dale Russel, David Santos, Craig Cramp, Bob Kulick, Bill Cuomo, Kenny Greenburg, Diana Dewit, Bekka Bramlett behind him, Cage has put out a compilation of music that is a hot launching pad for a devout and growing fan base. Gibson also appears on the hit ABC TV show “Nashville” as a roadie.
